Gardeners and rose lovers gathered at the old west side drugstore on 200 South in Salt Lake City to rescue rose bushes from demolition before the property is cleared for a mixed-use high rise development. The 400 varities of roses on the property, which was previously owned by Bob Bauer, will be distributed to community members and businesses.
